Coaching

I offer a range of coaching programs and courses to suit different needs and levels of support.  If you would like to chat with me about which would be most suitable for your needs and goals then please arrange a complementary 15 minute phone call where I will be happy to answer any questions and explain how the process of nutritional therapy could help you.

One to one health coaching

Nutrition coaching programs involve working closely with clients to improve their general health and wellbeing which could include: feeling lethargic, stressed or tired, sluggish digestion, not sleeping well, experiencing low mood and anxiety or needing to lose body fat.  It can also help support more specific health conditions or sporting performance goals.

During the program, current health and diet will be assessed, and we will work together over time to reach goals, redress nutritional imbalances and improve any symptoms of ill health.

You will be supported through a combination of face to face consultations, coaching calls (via phone or Skype) and emails which will provide continuous nutritional advice and motivational coaching.

How does a coaching program work?

Once you have decided on the nutrition coaching package which best suits you, then you need to complete a questionnaire prior to starting the program. This gives me detailed information about your goals, current nutrition, lifestyle, health issues and symptoms.  The questionnaire can be sent via e mail or post depending on your preference.

The first stage of your coaching program begins with an initial consultation and case review, this is preferably done face to face but Skype is an option.  Consultations take place in my comfortable, clinic room in my home in Shotley Bridge. You will receive a nutrition and lifestyle plan, relevant resources, menu plans and recipes to help implement the recommendations.

Support is given throughout your program through e mail, follow up consultations and coaching calls. Progress is evaluated and any adjustments or further recommendations are made to the program. The reason for these regular catch ups is to ensure you have successfully implemented any changes, are making progress and are working towards successfully meeting your goals.

As part of the nutrition and lifestyle plan I may also recommend diagnostic testing or supplements if I feel they may be beneficial.  I will always recommend food over supplements however in certain circumstances they may benefit a client and assist in helping them achieve their health goals.
